These are the facts that maintained our commanders inspired on the firm purpose, of introducing again in our organization an air element that could allow more mobility and an overwhelming and opportune answer in front of the violent actions of the narcoterrorist organizations that for more than fifty years they have been martyring our dear Colombia.

For their characteristics, it develops assault operations and air movement in the whole Colombian territory. Their eminently proactive attitude and their capacity to execute great precision night operations, transforms it into a highly effective unit.

This famous brigade, reinforces the orders, executes air-medical evacuations and control and command missions. It also provides instruction and training to the companies assigned, with the purpose of increasing the Force operative capacity, supported in the human talent, security and high technology.
