Soldiers from the Third Brigade rescued four sports men in the rural zone of Cerrito

Troops from the engineers Battalion No.3 Coronel Agustín Codazi, in coordination with the Civilian Defense and the Fire Department from Palmira, rescued in the last hours four person which were trapped in the river of Los Chorros, located in the road that leads to Tenerife rural area of the municipality of El Cerrito, Valle.

Due to the climatic condition that made impossible the rescue operations, only yesterday was able the coordinated action in moments in which the rain didn´t allowed the maneuvers, the Soldiers from the Codazzi Battalion in a brave action headed the rescue which saved the lives of these four persons.

The four men from Florida, were attended and evacuated to medical health centers without mayor wounds.

The troops from the Third Brigade continue supporting, in the necessary cases the labors of the help organism during this winter, and supporting the civilian population of the persons in Valle.
