Terrorist action from the ELN was neutralized in Norte de Santander

Military operation headed by troops from the National Army, allowed the neutralization of a mined field installed by terrorists from the ELN in Norte de Santander.
The military action was registered while soldiers from the 30th Military Engineers Battalion where heading offensive operations against the ‘Hector’ group, in the site known as San Carlos in the municipality of El Tarra.
The death trap was made up with two 40 pounds cylinders loaded with explosives and 500 meters of duplex cable.
After the troops proceeded to isolate the site while the explosive experts destroyed them in a controlled way.
