Operations against the drug traffic become more intense in Cauca and Norte de Santander

Two clandestine constructions used for the processing of alkaloids belonged to the outlaw organizations were located in the last hours by the National Army in Cauca and Norte de Santander.

The military offensive left as first results in the sector known as El Limoncito in the municipality of Hacarí, Norte de Santander, were soldiers from the 15th Infantry Battalion, from the 30th Brigade on development of the register and control operations discovered a laboratory from the EPL.

In the site the military troops confiscated 880 kilos of coca in process, 12 kilos of urea, 195 gallons of gasoline, 10 gallons of sulfuric acid, three scales and a fumigation device among other materials.

In another site in the town of Sabaneta municipality of El Tambo, Cauca, troops from the 4th High Mountain Battalion, reported the location and destruction of another structure, in which members from a criminal band kept 110 kilos of coca leaf in process, 100 kilos of gray cement and the same amount of sodium permanganate, 110 gallons of gasoline and a metallic press.
