The rehabilitation of the roads affected by the winter and the moving of debris and fallen trees as well as the evacuation of water from the houses were some of the social labors made by the soldiers from the 2nd Brigade of the Army.
Troops from the 2nd Engineers Battalion were hard working for the rehabilitation and recuperation of the intern roads at the municipalities of the Atlantic Coast which were severely affected by the winter.
During the month the Military Engineers made the labors at the roads presenting to the moment an 85% of advance in the works. Through special machinery acquired by the funds of Colombia Humanitaria, in these vulnerable areas.
Also in Tenerife the labors continue since May 31st with a 53% of advance and at Malambo with a 92 % of advance
With these works the Military Engineers give benefits to more than 15.000 inhabitants of the municipalities and towns in the Atlantic Coast willing for them to have a better life quality.
