Initially at the site know as Carrizal in the municipality of Ricaurte, soldiers from the 141st Terrestrial Combat Battalion on development of the register and control operations in the area located two clandestine constructions which were used by the terrorist for the robbery of fuel.

During the operation, were confiscated 11.660 gallons of petroleum, 110 gallons of ACPM, 810 meters of hose, two plastic cans each one with capacity for 55 gallons, four distillation towers, 43 meters of metallic tube and four pools which were going to be used for the stocking of fuel.

Simultaneously, troops from the 138th Terrestrial Combat Battalion deployed in the general area of Barbacoas, reported the location of another handmade refinery. In the site were confiscated 9.600 gallons of petroleum, 3.200 meters of hose, a distillation tower, 12 meters of metallic tube and a stocking tank among other materials.
