53 hectares of illegal crops were eradicated
Army is heading operations against the drug traffic

In the war against the drug traffic troops from the National Army reported in the last hours the location and destruction of a laboratory used for the processing of alkaloids and approximately 50 hectares of illegal crops in several regions of the country.
On a first report, is pointed that on development of the register and control operations in the area at the municipality of Puerto Rico, Meta, soldiers from the Easter Specific Command, discovered a clandestine construction used for the processing of alkaloids.
At the interior of the structure from the ‘Camilo Torres’ group from the Farc were confiscated 55 gallons of ACPM, several cans with residuals of shredded coca leafs, a fumigation device and a scale.
Meanwhile at the departments of Guaviare, Santander, Valle del Cauca, Chocó, Vichada, Caquetá and Putumayo, troops from the Second, Third, Fourth and Sixth Division as well as members from the Eastern Specific Command, destroyed approximately 53 hectares of illegal crops from the Farc and other outlaw groups.
