Army frustrates terrorist actions in Cauca, Meta and Tolima

On the frame of the offensive operations headed by men from the National Army against outlaw groups, was achieved the location of 11 explosive artifacts from the Farc

The first military action took place at Puente Ovejas in the municipality of Caldono, Cauca were troops from the Third Division located eight bomb cylinders of 20 pounds each which were installed at a mined field by members from the ‘Jacobo Arenas’ group from the Farc, in the site were located 300 meters of cable and 10 meters of detonation cord.
Also, explosive experts from the 51st Jungle Battalion destroyed in a controlled way two 5.56 mm rifle grenades which were abandoned by terrorists from the seventh front of the Farc in the municipality of Puerto Concordia, Meta.
Finally an improvised explosive device of high power from the guerrillas of the ‘Alfredo Gonzalez’ group of the Farc was located in the municipality of Planadas, Tolima by soldiers from the Zeuz Task Force.
