Defense Minister and high military ranks gathered in for a meeting in Catatumbo

Headed by Juan Carlos Pinzón, Defense Minister and the high military authorities, took place at Ocaña the reunion with the objective of analyzing the development of the operations and security of the zone of Catatumbo.

On the day were General Alejandro Navas Ramos, Commander of the Military Forces, General Sergio Mantilla Sanmiguel, Commander from the National Army and General Brigadier Marco Lino Tamayo Tamayo, Commander from the Joint Task Force ‘Vulcano’.

After the Defense Minister and the authorities made the visit to the command of the Vulcano task Force in the municipality of Tibú, were they had an operational reunion were the military offensive aspects against the terrorist group in Norte de Santander took place.
