Alleged extortionist was captured
August 28, 2012
On development of the offensive operations headed in the last hours by troops from the 12th Brigade, attached to the Sixth Division, was captured an alleged extortionist and an improvised explosive artifact was neutralized in Caquetá.
On a first fact units from the Gaula Group Caquetá, in coordination with members from the CTI captured in flagrancy a person from extortion crimes.
The subject belonged to the criminal bands and was taken for disposition of the competent authorities, was apprehended in the urban area of the municipality of Valparaiso.
In another site, units from the 35th Infantry Battalion located an improvised explosive artifact with a relief pressure activation system.
The explosive was destroyed in a controlled way by the Army, was installed by terrorists from the front 15 of the Farc at the sector of Betania, at the inspection of Union Peneya at the municipality of La Montañita.
