The army radio stations diffuse programs and institutional messages with participative, popular, educational, cultural and recreational character, that pretend the invigoration of the democracy, the essential securities of the nationality, the military civil integration and the civic solidarity in support to the Democratic Security politics of the Presidency of the Republic.
Due to the easiness of reception of this media and its penetration power in all the social strata and at all the education levels, the National Army has intended to use it as an approach mechanism towards the population, not only looking for its support but narrowing the bonds of ownership between the citizenship and its soldiers.
The specific objectives of the military radio in Colombia are: to Achieve the support, and the rural and urban population's solidarity; to Increase the morals, fighting spirit and sense of ownership of our own troops; to Achieve the terrorists demobilization and the weapons surrendering at national level and to lower their will of fight; and Support the execution of programs and campaigns promoted by the State.
