The first battles were in rural areas of the municipality of Mapiripan (Meta), where a member of FARC’s 39 squad was injured, known by the alias of "Chita", who received humanitarian assistance and was subsequently evacuated, with support from Colombian Air Force to the capital of Meta, where doctors provide specialized medical care.
Alias "Chita", was found by troops of Infantry Battalion No. 20 "General Roergas Serviez" expressed his desire to benefit from the Humanitarian Service Plan for the Demobilized offered by the national government.
Meanwhile in the vicinity of Flores in the municipality of Miraflores (Guaviare), another guerrilla was injured due to fighting and was immediately located by troops and transported by the Air Force to San José del Guaviare, where at this time he is recovering from his wounds.
