Army aided guerrilla wounded in Arauca

In a joint venture of the National Army and the Colombian Air Force resulted in the deaths of 11 rebels wounded and one captured, all belonging to the ELN.
The incidents occurred at a place known as Altos de Satoca in rural Saravena after intelligence operations carried out by units of the Eighth Division which allowed Air Force aircraft to attack a camp of Ephraim Pavón Saenz squad and Lain from ELN, which had capacity to house up to 50 guerrillas.
After the operation the troops carried out a search of the area and found the seriously wounded guerrilla and rendered first aid, stabilize him and later taking him in an Air Force helicopter to a medical facility.
