In the Battalion of Instruction and Retraining No. 5 attached to the Fifth Brigade took place the extra-curricular instruction day in Human Rights, International Humanitarian Day and Operational Right, were assisted more than 500 soldiers from the different tactical units from the Fifth Brigade.
The instruction assisted by the personnel of Officers from the Fifth Brigade, the Colombian Red Cross, the International Committee of the Red Cross, and the Technical Body of Investigation (CTI), had as objective instruct over the Human Rights, and judicial procedures to follow to each of the patrols when they engage in combat areas, with the end of making the respective judicial process of the operational results.
Audiovisual aids, theoric instructions, Human Rights practice track fields, were the theoric material –practical for the patrol commanders, peasant, professional and regular soldiers, strength their knowledge in judicial procedures.
The included academies in the permanent instruction plan for each patrol are made every month, even though with the participation with institutions as the CTI and DAS, that headed the judicial process are made twice per semester.
