Two guerrillas died in combat, one more was rescued by the Army

Medellín. After holding an armed engagement against members of the Farc, troops from the Fourth Brigade gave humanitarian aid to alias “Daniel”. Other two guerrillas that made part of the terrorist faction went out of combat.
The military action was registered in the town of La Aguada in the municipality of Campamento, Antioquia, place were soldiers from the Infantry Battalion No. 10 “Atanasio Girardot”, deployed the operation against the group “Mario Velez” of the Farc.
Alias “Daniel” of 25 years old, received several wounds on his body as consequence of the intense crossing of fire between the Army and the guerrilla structure. After being found by the military unit, was taken to a safe place were combat nurses gave him basic medical attention for avoiding his death; after that he was evacuated on a helicopter to the city of Medellin to be taken to the Hospital Central at the capital of Antioquia.
After the combat the military unit confiscated a sub machinegun, three rifles, 272 war cartridges of different calibers, three hand grenades, seven ammunition magazines, and five communication equipments and three backpacks.
