With an event made in the Field of the 5th Engineers Battalion ‘Coronel Francisco José de Caldas’ from the second Division, was commemorated the 36th anniversary of the creation of the Reserve Professional Officers.
A military ceremony took place with the presence of Colonel Luis Felipe Montoya Sánchez, Commander of the Fifth Brigade, Brigadier General José angel Mendoza, Commander of the Metropolitan Police of Bucaramanga, Colonel William Galindo Second Commander and Chief Staff of the Second Division, Lieutenant Colonel Luis Ernesto Ruiz Cardozo, Commander of the Professional Reserve Officers from the Second Division, the personnel of Officers, Non Commissioned Officers, Soldiers and Civilians from the military unit and other civilian authorities.
For the Commander of the Reserve Professional Officers, being part of the institution is a huge proud due to their profession contributing to the homeland, “currently the Fifth Brigade has more than 300 Professional Reserve Officers who support the different activities of benefit to the vulnerable population and other programs that support the institutional image of the National Army” pointed Colonel Ruiz.
