On development of the offensive operations headed in the last hours, units from the Sixth Division of the National Army capture an alleged member of the Farc with 99 bars of the highly power explosive known as ‘pentolite’.

The operations headed by soldiers from the 9th Special Energetic and Road Battalion, from the 27th Jungle Brigade was headed in the sector of La Playa in the municipality of Orito, Putumayo.

According to the information, the captured subject had the task of distributing explosives to different commissions of the group 48 of the Farc and heading terrorist attacks against the Public Force and the economic infrastructure of the department, specially.

With this capture and the confiscation of the explosive material was neutralized the terrorist attack from the group 48 of the Farc in Putumayo.

The commander from the 27th Brigade makes a call to the community in order to denounce any suspicious actions to the 146 and 147 lines which may allow the opportune neutralization of the terrorist groups.
