Army confiscated a ton of cocaine chlorhydrate

On the frame of the offensive operations headed in Casanare and Vichada, troops from the 28th Jungle Brigade located at the interior of a vessel 991 kilos of cocaine chlorhydrate from a criminal band.
The operation was registered in the sector known as La Hermosa at the municipality of Paz de Ariporo, Casanare were soldiers from the 28th Engineers Battalion were heading register and control operations over the Meta River.
The finding was produced due to the information give by the cooperative net who informed about the possible transport of precursors and fuels for the criminal bands that commit crimes in the zone.
The subjects noticing the presence of the troops abandoned the boat at the river side and ran away. The vessel had a capacity for transporting 23 persons.
