2,882 new professional soldiers from the National Army will strengthen security throughout the country

The ceremony was presided over by Brigadier General Federico Mejía, director of the National Training Center. During the solemn ceremony, the formation evoked the historic battle of Ayacucho, exalting the legacy of courage, discipline, and victorious spirit that characterizes the heroes of the homeland.

During two months of demanding and rigorous training, these men were comprehensively prepared in different areas and specialties, strengthening their tactical, operational, and human capabilities, with the purpose of fulfilling the constitutional mission of providing security and protection to Colombians.

Of particular note is that 122 of the new professional soldiers obtained certification as Military First Responders, becoming highly trained personnel for emergency response, humanitarian support, and safeguarding life in operational and community settings.

Likewise, the effort, discipline, and academic excellence of the top students in the course were highlighted. Professional soldiers Córdova Moreno Henry Javier, Furnieles Vásquez Gilmar Yesid, Quiroga Guzmán Brayan Stiven, and Téllez Navarrete Sergio Armando received special recognition for their outstanding performance.

Today, the professional soldiers of Special Course No. 81 SLP Salamanca Rodríguez Edinson have established themselves as worthy heirs of the will, courage, and discipline that shone in the Battle of Ayacucho and continue to shine in every man who proudly wears the Colombian uniform.

With this graduation, the National Army reaffirms its commitment to the homeland, delivering men who are prepared, disciplined, and deeply dedicated to service, ready to continue building security, stability, and confidence for all Colombians.
