During the meeting, lines of action were identified to start a work in cooperation with this international knowledge center.
The Sixth Division of the National Army, in order to apply strategies that promote rapprochement with international organizations and coordinate efforts to attack criminality and anthropogenic threats, socialized the actions deployed by the Bubble against Deforestation in the Colombian Amazon with the Institute Technological of Massachusetts in the United States.

During the presentation, the work carried out in the south of the country by all the authorities and the territorial entities in charge of enforcing the Colombian environmental legislation was exposed. This activity was led by the National Army within the framework of the Faith in Colombia program and the regional identity initiatives Love Amazonas, Love Caquet and Love Putumayo, and took place after receiving an invitation from the Environmental Solution Initiative programs of the MIT during a conference called Collaboration in Environmental Sustainability.

During the meeting, the initiatives proposed by the Colombian Air Force, the Military Engineers Command and the Integral Action and Development Support Command of the National Army to prevent deforestation and restore degraded ecosystems were socialized.

Likewise, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology presented the projects that could be supported and implemented in order to fulfill the commitments made during the Summit of Climate Change of Paris, in 2015, which seeks to preserve forests. These projects include the design of biometric environmental robots, sensor systems and data analysis, solar energy and autonomous systems, and unmanned aircraft for monitoring the jungle.

The objective of this meeting is to articulate efforts with this university and contribute to strengthen the capacities of the Environmental Bubble, activated in December of 2016 in Caquet and replicated in several departments of the country.
