Flag presentation ceremony at the Cavalry School

On this special occasion, 110 students, including two international students from the Republic of Brazil and five from the Colombian Navy, began their training, committing themselves to the highest values of honor, discipline, and loyalty in the service of their country.

During the flag presentation ceremony, presided over by Lieutenant Colonel Gustavo Adolfo Ospina Maldonado, Director of the Cavalry School, and Sergeant Major Advisor to the Directorate, they extolled this medieval tradition in which loyalty, camaraderie, and esprit de corps are sought to achieve integration as a single course in order to attain the highest ideals.

The two foreign officers arrived in Colombia to begin specialized training based on the experience and doctrine of the Colombian Army Cavalry. This was made possible thanks to a bilateral agreement between the two countries.

The National Army will continue to reaffirm its commitment to binational training through knowledge exchange, joint training, and collaboration in joint operations with neighboring countries.
