The operation allowed arresting two men for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing and/or possession of narcotics.
The frequent checkpoints located in strategic points of Huila have allowed to affect drug trafficking gangs. In the last hours, units of the Infantry Battalion no. 27 - Magdalena of the Ninth Brigade seized 24 kilos of marijuana and arrested two men.

Jhonatan Triana Zapata, 20, and Jorge Andrés Triana Chaux, 27, were caught red-handed when they were required for a voluntary search in the village Limoncito of the municipality of Altamira.

The narcotic was distributed in 25 packages and had been conditioned in a fiber bag that was carried by the passenger in the middle of the motorcycle in which they were moving.

According to intelligence reports, the subjects were travelling on the Toribio - Cauca - Neiva route, where the hallucinogen would apparently be collected. The men, the narcotic and the motorcycle were made available to the competent authority.
