During various military ceremonies presided over by the commander of the Thirteenth Brigade, four Tactical Units with jurisdiction in Cundinamarca welcomed their new commanders
With the participation of civil and military authorities, the change of command ceremonies of the 13th Brigade of the National Army were carried out. In the premises of the Artillery Battalion no. 13 - General Fernando Landazábal Reyes, responsible for the localities of the south of Bogotá and the municipalities of the East of Cundinamarca, Lieutenant-Colonel Edgard Rodríguez Pérez handed over his position to Lieutenant-Colonel Luis Orlando Alfonso García.

Meanwhile, in the Airborne Infantry Battalion no. 28 Colombia, unit in charge of a highly important jurisdiction for tourism and economy and currently at peace, Lieutenant Colonel Sergio Armando Guzmán Jaimes handed over the command to Lieutenant Colonel Gustavo Gutiérrez Navarro. Similarly, in Fusagasugá, the Infantry Battalion no. 39 Sumapaz welcomed Lieutenant-Colonel Luis Felipe Martínez Muñoz as its new commander, who received the position from Lieutenant-Colonel Jairo Antonio Castillo Colorado, an officer who completed a successful period in terms of operational results and comprehensive action.

Finally, Lieutenant Colonel Jhon Freddy Duque Patiño handed over the command of the Support and Services for Combat Battalion no. 13, with headquarters in the North Canton of Bogotá, to Lieutenant Colonel Julio César Ramírez Nieto.

The Command of the 13th Brigade wishes its new commanders the best during the performance of their work. This is a new professional challenge for each of these distinguished officers, who assume the commitment to guarantee the security and defense in each of their jurisdictions.
