New commander in the Military Gaula of Caquetá

New commander in the Military Gaula of Caquetá The officer must now consolidate the results achieved by the unit

The officer has been a member of the institution for 18 years and will direct actions tending to counteract the crimes that affect the freedom and the patrimony of the citizens.
In compliance with the Personnel Command Transfer Plan of the National Army, Major Miller Rolando Sierra Caicedo took over as the commander of the Unified Action Group for Personal Liberty, Military Gaula of Caquetá.

The officer has been a member of the institution for 18 years and will now be responsible for devising actions to combat criminal phenomena such as kidnapping and extortion, which affect the assets and freedom of the citizens.

From the Engineering Weapon, the new commander of the Military Gaula of Caquetá, born in Chiquinquirá, Boyacá, entered the Military School of Cadets General José María Córdova on January 15, 2000. He is married, has two daughters and performed as an officer of the Second Brigade Logistics and as the logistic coordinator in the NCO School Sargento Inocencio Chincá.

Throughout his career he has obtained eight medals including Faith in the Cause, José María Córdova in the Officer Category, José María Córdova in the Knight category, Antonio Nariño in the Officer Category, Military Engineers, Southern Campaign and Wounded in Combat.

The officer must now consolidate the results achieved by the unit since its activation in 1993 to make the perception of security a reality, attacking the funding sources of the organized residual armed groups, organized armed groups and common criminals.

Meanwhile, his predecessor, Major Juver Arley Plazas Parada, was transferred to the Army Personnel Directorate.
