Our Multimission Heroes train and encourage citizens to protect the environment.
The Multimission Heroes of the Special Energy and Road Battalion No.13 assigned to the Thirteenth Brigade of the National Army, in coordination and supported by the Regional Autonomous Corporation of Guavio (CORPOGUAVIO) and the municipal mayors office, developed a play day for children, youth and adults of the Departmental School of Ubalá in Cundinamarca.
During the environmental campaign held in the municipal coliseum, the different authorities offered recreational activities and talks with the purpose of protecting natural resources and thus mitigate environmental pollution caused by humans.
In addition, the Mechanized Cavalry Group No. 10 Tequendama, with the aim of strengthening environmental care in the municipalities of their jurisdiction, has been developing environmental campaigns in a coordinated manner with different entities.
The troops of the Tequendama Group, knowing the importance of caring for the environment, also joined the commemoration of the World Environment Day, in coordination with the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá, for a reforestation and planting campaign in which 200 fruit trees, including orange, mandarin, cherry and peach trees were planted in the green areas of the Cathedral.
The command of the Thirteenth Brigade reiterates its commitment to the community, articulating activities with environmental entities and developing projects and social campaigns that generate environmental awareness, while guaranteeing the tranquility of the inhabitants of the center of the country.
