National Army Rescue Soldiers Participate in CENTAM SMOKE 2025 Exercise

The exercise, led by the United States Air Force's 612th Squadron, aims to strengthen capabilities, standardize knowledge, and practice advanced rescue and emergency response techniques.

For five days, military personnel and firefighters are trained in the characteristics, use, and application of self-contained breathing apparatus, vehicle rescue operations, firefighting in aircraft and structures, and procedures for handling hazardous materials.

The activity also includes the 'Firefighters' Challenge', an obstacle course where participants measure their physical ability and expertise in various tests. It is worth noting that Colombian rescue soldiers have taken first place in the last two editions.

This joint participation of the Armed Forces in international scenarios demonstrates the coordination, spirit of brotherhood, and camaraderie among allied countries.
