In an international context marked by emerging threats and unconventional risks, military engineers are participating in this academic and strategic forum aimed at strengthening capabilities against chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) threats.
With the firm intention of consolidating technical preparedness, this high-level academic forum brings together national and international experts to strengthen knowledge, best practices, processes, and procedures in the CBRN field.
For two days, Military Engineers will participate in this strategic exchange of knowledge, aimed at strengthening regional cooperation and optimizing response capabilities in risk scenarios that compromise the safety and lives of the population.
The event, led by NCT Consultants, the CBRNe Society, and the National Army, consolidates the country as the host of one of the most relevant meetings on management and response to unconventional threats in South America, bringing together professionals and specialists from the National Army, the National Police, fire departments, and international delegations from South America, Central America, North America, and Europe, among other regions.
Venues such as this allow for the exchange of experiences through conferences, technical panels, and networking, where innovative solutions, new technologies, and applied operational procedures are discussed.
One of the most notable components of the seminar is PRO eXperience, a practical training based on real scenarios for first responders, which facilitates opportunities for inter-institutional coordination and gives attendees the chance to interact with specialized equipment and state-of-the-art technologies provided by sponsoring companies.
Through this type of participation, the National Army reaffirms its regional leadership in comprehensive risk management, strengthening doctrine, technical preparedness, and international cooperation, in fulfillment of its constitutional mission to protect the life, integrity, and security of all Colombians.
