School of Military Engineers strengthens research and innovation in the international academic arena

The academic event brought together more than 200 young researchers, faculty members, speakers, and representatives from national and international institutions, establishing itself as a strategic platform for strengthening science, technology, innovation, and academic cooperation.
The event featured delegations and speakers from Colombia, Peru, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Argentina, Bulgaria, and Brazil, who shared research experiences focused on sustainability, climate resilience, the circular economy, and territorial development.
During the event, 14 national and international conferences, 55 academic presentations, 36 research posters, interdisciplinary collaboration spaces, and academic research networks were featured.
On behalf of the School of Military Engineers, the Science and Technology Unit highlighted the importance of promoting research environments that strengthen critical thinking, scientific training, and the generation of knowledge with social and territorial impact.
During the opening remarks, it was emphasized that these academic spaces enable the consolidation of strategic alliances, foster the co-creation of research initiatives, and strengthen open science, contributing to institutional positioning and sustainable development from within academia.
The School of Military Engineers thus reaffirms its commitment to comprehensive education, applied research, and international outreach, promoting academic processes that contribute to the country’s scientific development and the strengthening of institutional capacities.
