As part of military operations aimed at weakening the criminal structures that threaten security in the country’s northeast, troops from the National Army’s Fifth Brigade, in coordination with the National Police, successfully captured, pursuant to a court order, a leader of the Ferney Antonio López Polo substructure of the Gulf Clan Organized Armed Group (GAO), who was wanted for the crimes of homicide and aggravated conspiracy to commit a crime.
