For five consecutive days, U.S. Army Southern Command personnel toured the Brigade's facilities located in the Caribbean zone of Colombia.
The delegation visited each of the units attached to this brigade to learn about the capabilities of the National Army in the execution of logistics operations of maintenance, transport, and supply in the North Theater of operations, in order to strengthen these processes, from bilateral support so that they result in the operational forcefulness of the Force.
The members of the U.S. Army delegation received information from the logistics leaders of the units about the operation of the different facilities and the work carried out by the qualified personnel working in each of the areas; especially the maintenance that provides technical and operational support to the different vehicle and armament platforms, with the Mobile Armored Maintenance Unit (UMMBLIL) and the Mobile Artillery Maintenance Unit (UMMART) and the Mobile Armament Maintenance Unit (UMMA), with which it goes directly to the field to provide the service to the frontline units.
At the end of the visit, the commissioners highlighted the great capabilities that BRLOG3 has to develop the logistics operations assigned to support the military and administrative operations of the National Army.
