National Training Center graduates 91 new Lanceros to strengthen the Military Forces

Tolemaida Military Fort was the setting for a ceremony filled with discipline and pride, where the Lancero School, in the presence of the commander of the National Training Center, decorated 91 men who successfully completed one of the most demanding courses in the Colombian Military Forces.

For more than three months, the cadets faced grueling tests in jungle and mountain settings, extreme environments that pushed their physical endurance, mental fortitude, and adaptability to the limit. These training phases are essential for developing combatants capable of fighting in adverse conditions, overcoming natural obstacles and highly complex situations.

The ceremony featured emotional moments, such as when each graduate received the Lancero badge, a symbol of honor, courage, and commitment to the homeland. Family members of the soldiers were also in attendance; amid tears, hugs, and smiles, they expressed deep pride in the sacrifice and dedication of their loved ones.

This achievement not only represents the culmination of a demanding training process but also the strengthening of the human talent that makes up the Military Forces, reaffirming their commitment to Colombia’s security and defense.
